Heart Heart Heartbreak

There's one thing that happens every single time I'm watching a movie or reading a book nowadays. My brain starts to function in english and turning the on/off switch back to finnish seems to be the hardest thing to do. I know that my english is far away from perfect, for excample I should learn how to punctuate, but still my brain works in english part of the time.

I absolutely hate it when thinking about something and you'll find the perfect words in english but translating it just doesn't work. Finnish is a stupid language when it comes to certain things. My friends do find it super funny when I'm talking and at some point I just have to say something in english. Well, at least they understand me... most of the time. There's no way I'll be able to switch my brain working back in finnish at this hour so I'll just write this one in english.

Few thing that made me smile today


I so totally did not suck when playing Guitar Hero on medium! Personal triumph, seriosly. I've been playing on easy for the longest time 'cause my fingers just don't want to work with me when playing on medium. Today though, I made it. Okay, I have to admit, I had the hardest time getting the red notes correctly but it's a start. Just give me few weeks and I'm so gonna kick everyone's ass'. BTW, I do love the guitar, but I like the drums even more!


The dentist didn't kill me! Though she said "oh, it's not the tooth that's hurting, it's the skin" and se didn't believe that in fact the tooth is the one which was killing me over last week. Well, anyways. She did something to ease the pain for now and if it'll work, maybe I don't need to get the tooth removed at all - yippee!


Money! Still waiting for my paycheck but I do have quite a bit more money than what I thought I had. What does this mean? I'm gonna do some online nail polish shopping 'cause I've been dying to get a few colors and maybe I'll go buy the beanie I didn't buy today because I thought I had a lot less money that what I actually do.


You Me At Six is supporting Paramore through their whole European tour! That means: You Me At Six in freaking Finland! I've been listening to their music from before they even had a record deal. When they were just some random almost-a-garage-like band from England and now they're making it and I feel like a proud mom 'cause these boys do deserve it. It's gonna be an awesome night in two months. Why can't time fly faster?


Paramore's upcoming album Brand New Eyes leaked today. Correct me if I'm completely off by saying that it was supposed to be up on some site over this week to be heard before the actual release date (09/29/2009). Well, anyways, this made my day so much better and I haven't even listened to it yet. There's a thing about certain cd's. You just have, have, have to wait till you're alone, lying on your floor with your eyes closed and listen to the album for the first time. I think this rule only contains Paramore and Panic at the Disco albums for sure, and if I actually have time, I'll do the same with other albums too. If I had will power enough, I'd wait till I get my own copy of the album but this time I think I'll have to give in. I know someone surely wants to tell me how horrible of a person I am for downloading something that's leaked but I justify my act by saying that I've pre ordered my copy on the album already. And not just the standard version, but the deluxe one which was expensive and everything but I just had to get it. So mental orgasms tomorrow while listening to Paramore... sounds like a plan to me.

From now on, I try to post only when my brain is functioning in finnish but sometimes I just feel like writing in english.
